AI & SAFETY NOTICE
Human judgment stays in control.
Effective August 3, 2026
This notice describes RouteRanch’s current use of artificial intelligence and the safety limits that apply to trucking operations.
Current AI status
RouteRanch currently does not use AI to communicate with users, autonomously dispatch vehicles, score drivers, set prices, determine employment, evaluate safety, recognize faces or voices, or approve or deny access to a service. It functions as a records, reporting, fleet, dispatch, customer, location, and driver-entry platform.
Future AI safeguards
- An AI interaction or AI-generated recommendation will be clearly identified before or when it is presented.
- AI output will be treated as a draft or recommendation—not a verified fact, command, safety determination, or professional opinion.
- A qualified human must review AI-assisted information before it affects dispatch, employment, pricing, maintenance, safety, customer eligibility, or another significant decision.
- RouteRanch will not intentionally design or deploy AI to unlawfully discriminate, manipulate behavior, encourage illegal conduct, impair constitutional rights, or capture biometric identifiers without legally required notice and consent.
- Users will have a way to report suspected inaccurate, unsafe, biased, deceptive, or unauthorized AI behavior.
Driver and vehicle safety
Never use RouteRanch while driving or operating machinery. Park safely before entering hours, weights, tickets, locations, or truck status. RouteRanch does not monitor road conditions, load securement, driver fatigue, mechanical fitness, licensing, or regulatory compliance and cannot determine whether a trip is safe or lawful.
Hours and ELD limitation
RouteRanch’s clock-in, clock-out, and daily-report tools do not replace an FMCSA-registered ELD or any official record of duty status. Motor carriers and drivers must determine which federal and Texas requirements apply and keep all separately required records.
Report a concern
Report suspected unsafe output, discriminatory use, inaccurate automation, security incidents, or misuse to h-vclients@outlook.com. Include the company, date, affected screen, and a description, but do not email passwords, payment-card information, or unnecessary sensitive information.
